"Andy (Murray) played me a lot there in the third," Tkachuk said. "I think it's the most he's played me all year. It was nice. It was almost a little embarrassing, everythying trying to feed me all the time."

Legace turned away 30 shots through overtime, leading the Blues to a shootout with the Ducks with a scoreless tie. Andy McDonald and Brad Boyes scored in the shootout, lifting the Blues to a 1-0 victory. The game was Andy McDonald's first meeting against his former team.

Red Wings 3, Blues 4
The Blues found themselves trailing the Detroit Red Wings 2-0 after one period, but an explosive second period by the Blues put them ahead of Detroit, and for good. St. Louis scored four times in the second, including two goals from rookie David Perron, chasing veteran goalie Dominik Hasek from between the pipes. Keith Tkachuk and Jamal Mayers also added goals in the period.
The sold out crowd's emotion was led by Blues President John Davidson, who's fist pump after Perron's go-ahead goal was seen by a nationally televised audience on Versus.
It could be argued that Perron's performance in this game was a deciding factor in keeping him at the NHL level rather than sending him back to the Quebec Juniors.
