The Blues and Saint Louis University Hospital teamed up to raise nearly $12,000 for Komen for the Cure St. Louis Affiliate at the 2nd annual Pink at the Rink! Volunteers sold commemorative keychains at each entrance, and sold limited edition autographed pink sticks to raise money. Other activities for the evening included a breast cancer survivor procession around the concourse during the 1st intermission, special silent auction and a breast cancer education booth. In addition, the special Fox Sports Midwest banner that was signed by the Blues & FSN Race for the Cure was displayed behind the player's bench during this special game.

Breast cancer survivors that attended the game and registered online received a commemorative 2008 Pink at the Rink t-shirt. More than 100 people affiliated with Komen for the Cure St. Louis Affiliate attended the game.
