Hinote's Heroes Night
On Saturday, October 27 the Blues joined together with Hinote’s Heroes to bring awareness to pediatric cancer.

Hinote's Heroes, founded in 2004 by Blues player Dan Hinote, is dedicated to enhancing the quality of life for children battling cancer. Hinote's Heroes is currently working with St. Louis Children's Hospital to provided needed items for the pediatric cancer center.

The night included a special silent auction and a Hinote's Heroes booth with information and merchandise for sale, and the Blues donated $5 from ticket sales through a special offer. The money raised from ticket sales, the silent auction, and Hinote’'s Heroes merchandise, will be used to purchase needed items for St. Louis Children’'s Hospital's Pediatric Cancer Center.

Children and families from St. Louis Children’'s Hospital were invited to a pre-game pizza party and received free tickets to the game, a Blues goody bag, Hinote’'s Heroes T-shirt, and a visit from the Blues mascot, Louie. The families also met Dan Hinote & Manny Legace after the game.

The night raised nearly $4,000 to benefit Hinote'’s Heroes and St. Louis Children’s Hospital’s Pediatric Cancer Center.
