St. Louis Blues 14 Fund The St. Louis Blues 14 Fund, the charitable trust of the St. Louis Blues, has a mission to positively impact programs and services that improve the health and wellness of youth, including cancer awareness and prevention; education; diversity; and positive development through sports. The St. Louis Blues continue to be committed to the community through the St. Louis Blues 14 Fund and other outreach efforts. The trust was created in 1998 to honor former Blues player Doug Wickenheiser, #14, who passed away from a long battle with cancer in early 1999. Originally named The Fourteen Fund, the St. Louis Blues name and Blue Note was recently incorporated into the name and logo of the trust.

This fall, the St. Louis Blues 14 Fund donated a total of more than $100,000 to local non-profit organizations serving youth. Checks were awarded during a special pre-game celebration on Sunday, November 25th.
Delta Gamma Center for Children with Visual Impairments
The Delta Gamma Center for Children with Visual Impairments is committed to helping children who are blind or visually impaired reach their full potential through individualized education and therapy services for infants and their parents and through the support services for children of all ages, their families and the community.
Diversity Awareness Partnership
The Diversity Awareness Partnership is dedicated to promoting the value of diversity in the St. Louis region through collaborative community and school-based education and awareness efforts. The Diversity Awareness Partnership promotes issues of diversity through various media campaigns and provides school-based educational programs.
Friends of Kids with Cancer
Friends of Kids with Cancer is a local non-profit organization devoted to enriching the daily lives of children in the St. Louis area undergoing treatment for cancer. Its mission is to provide these kids and their families with the recreational, educational, and emotional support they need throughout the long hours of chemotherapy, illness and isolation.
Gateway Locomotives
The Gateway Locomotives is an organized ice hockey program for developmentally challenged youth and young adults in the St. Louis Metropolitan area. Gateway Hockey’s program is open to anyone in the metropolitan area with a developmental disability.
Girls on the Run
Girls on the Run is a national, non-profit, interactive running and life skills afterschool program for girls in 3rd – 5th grades. The program encourages pre-teen girls to develop self-respect and healthy lifestyles through running by combining training for a 5K race with self-esteem building and life-skills exercises.
H.I.S. K.I.D.S.
H.I.S. K.I.D.S. stands for Happiness Is Serving Kids In Distress Situations. H.I.S. K.I.D.S. mission is to provide an ongoing support system to families who are affected by childhood cancer, which will help strengthen coping abilities and life skills.
Life Skills
The Life Skills supports people with developmental and other disabilities to live and work with dignity in our community. Life Skills serves over 1,400 teens and adults each year, helping them to live in their own home and access all the St. Louis community has to offer.
Missouri Hockey Association
Funds will be distributed to area youth hockey organizations to support Learn To Play programs, which will offer prospective youth hockey players a low cost introduction to hockey, and will also provide financial assistance through scholarships.
National Council of Jewish Women
The National Council of Jewish Women – St. Louis Section is a volunteer organization that works through a program of research, education, advocacy and community service to improve the quality of life for women, children and families and strives to ensure individual rights and freedoms for all.
