'Do You Bleed Blue' Blood Drive
To Support the American Red Cross

The St. Louis Blues were proud to support the American Red Cross for the annual Red Cross Blood Drive. Like last year, the 2009 blood drive was held in celebration of Wendy Pleau, the wife of Blues General Manager Larry Pleau.

Nearly 600 people showed up to give blood on Monday, February 9 at one of the five area locations. At three of the locations, donors were greeted by Blues players Patrik Berglund, B.J. Crombeen, Yan Stastny, David Backes, Jeff Woywitka, D.J. King, Erik Johnson and David Perron. All donors received a St. Louis Blues Blood Drive T-Shirt and were eligible to win an autographed puck and Blues tickets.

Locations for the blood drive were The Pointe in Ballwin, Old Hickory Golf Club in St. Charles, Meramec Arnold Elks in Imperial, Gateway Convention center in Collinsville, and YMCA in O'Fallon, IL.
