The Blues will host the Tampa Bay Lightning at Scottrade Center on Tuesday to mark the preseason opener for both teams.

Notable additions for the Blues include veteran forwards Jason Arnott, Jamie Langenbrunner and Scott Nichol. The team also added defenseman Kent Huskins to bolster the blueline.

Last season, the Blues went 0-0-1 against the Lightning, losing 4-3 in overtime on Feb. 6, 2011. The Blues got goals in that game from David Backes, Nikita Nikitin and Patrik Berglund. Alex Steen registered two assists.

Steven Stamkos finished with four points (one goal, three assists)

The puck drops on Tuesday's preseason opener at 7 p.m.
