Career: 2004-05: Played in his first season in North America with the Kootenay Ice,

fourth among WHL rookies with a plus-19 rating.
2003-04: Played in a career-high 52 games for HC Vitkovice-Jr., and also set career highs in points (12), goals (four), assists (eight) and penalty minutes (48) Finished second on the club among defensemen with 12 points and first with four goals. 2002-03: Appeared in 23 games for HC Banik Ostrava-Jr. of the Czech Republic Junior League, notching one assist and 14 penalty minutes. International Career: Appeared in six games, collecting a pair of assists for the Czech Republic at the 2006 World Under-20 Championships in Vancouver, British Columbia Won a bronze medal at the 2005 World Junior Championship in Grand Forks, North Dakota Captured a bronze medal as a member of the Czech Republic team at the 2004 World Under-18 Championship in Belarus.
