JUNIOR CAREER: Played three seasons for the Prince George Cougars of the Western Hockey League (1995-98), amassing 76 points (14g, 62a) along with 151 penalty minutes in 168 games played ... Was the Cougars assistant captain in 1997-98 ... Was the assistant captain of the Canadian National Junior Team in 1998 ... Selected to play in the WHL All-Star Game in 1997-98 ... Was named to the Western Division Second All-Star Team in 1997-98 ... Was named as the Cougars All-Scholastic Player in 1996-97 and Cougars Rookie of the Year in 1995-96.

INTERNATIONAL CAREER: Captured the Gold Medal for Team Canada at the 2004 World Cup of Hockey, scoring four points (1g, 3a) Represented Team Canada at the 2004 World Championships for the third consecutive season helping Team Canada win its second consecutive gold medal Scored two points (1g, 1a) along with six penalty minutes while posing a plus-four in the nine games played Appeared in his second consecutive World Championships IN 2003 in Helsinki, scoring three points (1g, 2a) along with eight penalty minutes in nine games played leading Canada to the Gold Medal Won the gold medal with Team Canada at 2002 Winter Olympics in Salt Lake City Notched a pair of goals, including a game-winner, while posting an even rating in six games played Made his first appearance for Team Canada at the 2002 World Championships in Sweden, where he was tied for the team scoring lead with five points (2g, 3a) seven games.
