Moment #5

Hull Hall of Fame Night

In celebration of Brett Hull's induction into the Hockey Hall of Fame last November, the Blues invited Hull and some of his former teammates to Scottrade Center for a pregame ceremony on Dec. 15. Check out video of Hull's speech, a feature on the special night and see who Hull would pick for his all-time Blues Dream Team. The Blues will unveil a statue of Brett Hull on Opening Night on Oct. 9 vs. Philadelphia. GET TICKETS

Moment #4

Coast-to-Coast

With one goal already in the Nov. 21 game vs the Islanders, David Perron took a pass from Carlo Colaiacovo and split two defenders, passed the puck between his legs to fool another defender, then swept the puck past goaltender Dwayne Roloson. It was an instant classic and labeled the Goal of the Year at NHL.com.

Moment #3

Playoff Payback vs. Canucks

In their first playoff appearance since the lockout in April 2009, the Blues ran into a red-hot Roberto Luongo and were eliminated from the playoffs in four games. But when the Blues hosted the Canucks for the first time since the elimination, they made a statement. David Perron scored his first career hat trick and the Blues chased backup Andrew Raycroft from the net. Perron would net his third goal of the game against Luongo. The Blues won 6-1.

Moment #2

Blues Unveil MacInnis Statue

Fans braved a cold, rainy day for a pregame rally outside Scottrade Center prior to the 2009-10 home opener for the official unveiling of the Al MacInnis statue. The sculpture was created by Jack Nortz, who spent more than three months working on the statue. Said MacInnis, "Some awards, like the Norris Trophy and the Stanley Cup, get awarded every year. Not often do you get a statue."

Moment #1

Season-Opening Wins in Sweden

The Blues opened the 2009-10 season with back-to-back, come-from-behind wins (4-3 and 5-3, respectively) over the Detroit Red Wings at the Globe Arena in Stockholm. Paul Kariya recorded four points (two goals, two assists) in Sweden. The Blues would continue to dominate Detroit this past season, going 4-1-1 in six games against their Central Division rivals.
