Blues Select Rundblad with 1st Round Pick
The Blues selected Swedish defenseman David Rundblad with their first round pick at the 2009 NHL Draft. Blues management says that Rundblad was ranked in the Top 10 on the team's list of hopefuly draft choices.

The Blues made six selections at the 2009 NHL Entry Draft. They made one trade, sending a 7th round pick in 2010 to Nashville for a 7th round pick in 2009 (Max Tardy).

Rundblad and others are likely to participate in the Pro-Orientation Camp in mid July at St. Louis Mills.
