![]() The St. Louis Blues FREE reading program is available for all classrooms, grades K-6, that are located in the Greater St. Louis Area. All participating classrooms will receive a commemorative Blues Bookworms Poster and each student will receive their very own bookmark and the chance to win FREE Blues tickets. HOW IT WORKS Each month, students record the number of minutes read using the Student Tracker Form provided by the Blues. Forms should be initialed by a parent/guardian and submitted to teachers. Teachers then submit their list of total classroom minutes online to the Blues each month using the downloadable Teacher Tracker. Every class that reaches or goes beyond the goal of 250 minutes per month per student will be entered into a drawing for a Blues celebrity appearance.* If a classroom is selected to receive a Blues Celebrity appearance and there are multiple classrooms in that selected school enrolled in the Blues Bookworms Program, all classrooms in that school that have reached their monthly goal will be invited to participate in the visit. The more classrooms registered per school, the better the chance of receiving an appearance. At the completion of the program in January, teachers will submit the names and total number of minutes read by their students (in addition to the number of minutes read in January). Students that read a total of 1,000 minutes or more will score with a free ticket to Blues Bookworms Night on Thursday, April 18 vs. Phoenix and have the opportunity shoot on goal after the game. A special ticket discount will be available for family members, and students that attend the game will be recognized as a group on the Scottrade Center scoreboard. Every classroom that participates will receive bookmarks for each student and a Bookworms poster for the classroom! *In order to be eligible to win a celebrity appearance, every student in the classroom must read at least 250 minutes per month. If students do not read 250 minutes every month, they are still eligible for a free Blues ticket as long as they have read 1000 minutes by the end of January. ![]() Fill out the form below to submit a photo of your classroom reading.
