St. Louis Blues Blood Drive
to support the American Red Cross

The St. Louis Blues, FOX Sports Midwest and the American Red Cross are joining forces to help save lives at the annual St. Louis Blues Blood Drive on Feb. 2 at eight locations in Missouri and Illinois. Everyone who attempts to donate will receive a specially designed Blues Blood Drive T-shirt while supplies last.

The Blues Blood Drive will be held from 1 to 7 p.m. at the locations listed below. Appointments can be made by calling 1-800-REDCROSS or by visiting and entering sponsor code: Blues.

Since 2007, the Blues have hosted Red Cross blood drives in an effort to help save lives. Blood donated at the St. Louis Blues Blood Drive could help many patients in need, including accident victims, cancer patients and those undergoing surgery.

How to donate blood
Simply call 1-800-RED CROSS (1-800-733-2767) or visit to make an appointment or for more information. All blood types are needed to ensure a reliable supply for patients. A blood donor card or driver’s license or two other forms of identification are required at check-in. Individuals who are 17 years of age (16 with parental consent in some states), weigh at least 110 pounds and are in generally good health may be eligible to donate blood. High school students and other donors 18 years of age and younger also have to meet certain height and weight requirements.
