Barkin' for the Blues
to benefit Stray Rescue of St. Louis & Five Acres Animal Shelter
April 19 vs. Dallas Stars
Support St. Louis area pets on Friday, April 19 when the Blues take on the Stars. Barkin' for the Blues is part of Barret's Buddies and David's Dogs, programs started by Blues players Barret Jackman (Stray Rescue) and David Backes (Five Acres Animal Shelter) to help neglected and abused animals at these organizations.
A special Adoption Area will be set up on the concourse outside Section 122 to give fans the chance to meet dogs available for adoption from these two shelters. Blues light-up beads will be available for $3 each or two for $5. All proceeds benefit Stray Rescue of St. Louis & Five Acres Animal Shelter.
Last year, Barkin' for the Blues raised more than $16,000 for Stray Rescue and Five Acres Animal Shelter.
