Chris Kerber
Radio Play-by-Play

Chris Kerber returns for his 14th season as the Blues radio play-by-play on the Blues’ radio network.

In addition to broadcasting Blues games, he also called four St. Louis Cardinals baseball games during the 2006 season.

Prior to joining the Blues, Kerber spent four seasons calling the action for the Springfield (Ma.) Falcons in the American Hockey League. In addition to his play-by-play and host duties for the Falcons, he acted as the team’s director of media relations from 1996 to 1999 and was promoted to director of marketing and communications for the 1999-2000 season.

A 1994 graduate of Miami University in Oxford, Ohio, Kerber did play-by-play for the men’s hockey team on WMSR, the student radio station. After graduating with a B.S. degree in Marketing, Kerber handled the play-by-play and PR duties for two seasons for the Birmingham (Al.) Bulls of the East Coast Hockey League before joining Springfield.

In addition to calling all the regular season and post-season games, Kerber will continue to host a pre-game show, post-game programs, coaches and players shows as well as fan activities to help promote Blues hockey.

Chris and his wife Kristie reside in St. Louis and have three daughters.
