Oshie Named Alzheimer's Walk Honorary Chair
The Blues forward will be the honorary chairperson at the Sept. 6 event downtown

ST. LOUIS - Blues forward T.J. Oshie will serve as the honorary chairperson at the Walk to End Alzheimer's in downtown St. Louis on Sept. 6.
Oshie made the announcement on his Twitter account on Tuesday afternoon.
The 1.5-mile walk will begin at Scottrade Center on Saturday, Sept. 6 at 9:30 a.m. Proceeds from the event will help provide care for alzheimer's patients while also supporting research efforts of the Alzheimer’s Association, a nonprofit organization.
Registration for the event is now open. As of July 29, the event has raised over $182,000 through donations, which is 31 percent of the $595,000 overall goal.
