PHILADELPHIA – The St. Louis Blues have selected forward Robby Fabbri with the 21st overall pick in the first round of the 2014 NHL Entry Draft.

Fabbri, 18, dressed in 58 regular season games with the Ontario Hockey League’s (OHL) Guelph Storm last season, ranking second on the club with 87 points, including 45 goals and 42 assists.

In addition, Fabbri helped the Storm capture the OHL Championship, posting 28 points, including a team-leading 13 goals, in 16 postseason games en route to earning the 99 Award as the league’s Playoff MVP.

Overall, the 5-foot-10, 165-pound center has spent the past two seasons with Guelph, totaling 120 points (55 goals, 65 assists) and 93 penalty minutes in 117 career regular season games.

The Mississauga, Ontario native was ranked 21st overall by NHL Central Scouting.
