Blues Sign Berglund to 3-Year Extension

PHILADELPHIA - St. Louis Blues President of Hockey Operations and General Manager Doug Armstrong announced today the club has re-signed forward Patrik Berglund to a three-year contract extension.

Berglund appeared in 78 regular season games in 2013-14, recording 32 points (14 goals and 18 assists). He also appeared in four playoff games.

Overall, Berglund has played in six NHL seasons in St. Louis, compiling 220 points (106 goals and 114 assists) in 436 career regular season games.

Internationally, the Vasteras native has represented Sweden on six occasions, including the 2014 Winter Olympics, where he earned the silver medal.

Previously, Berglund captured the silver medal at both the 2011 World Championships and 2008 World Juniors, as well as bronze at the 2009 World Championships.
