Blues Agree to Terms with Pochiro

ST. LOUIS – St. Louis Blues President of Hockey Operations and General Manager Doug Armstrong announced Wednesday the club has agreed to terms with forward Zach Pochiro on a three-year entry-level contract.

Pochiro, 20, has spent the past two years with the Prince George Cougars of the Western Hockey League (WHL).

This season, the 6-foot-1, 162-pound forward has dressed in 63 games, ranking third on the club with 66 points (27 goals, 39 assists) while leading the team with 123 penalty minutes.

Prior to Blues training camp, Pochiro represented the club at the 2013 Prospect Tournament in Traverse City, Michigan, where he posted two points (one goal, one assist) and eight penalty minutes in four games.

Originally born in St. Louis, and a native of Las Vegas, Pochiro was originally drafted by the Blues in the fourth round, 112th overall, of the 2013 NHL Draft.
