Steen Leaves Jan. 23 Game with Injury



Blues forward Alexander Steen sustained a lower-body injury in the second period of the Jan. 23 game against the New York Rangers.

Steen was hit and awkwardly fell into the boards in the second period. He stayed on the bench and then returned for a shift, but late in the second period, went to the locker room and did not return.

Ken Hitchcock said after the game that Steen is listed as day-to-day.

Steen has played in 39 games this season, scoring 26 goals and 16 assists.
