Stewart Injured Dec. 31 in Minnesota

Blues forward Chris Stewart was injured after getting in the face with a shot from Minnesota Wild forward Jason Pominville.

The incident occurred in the first period on Dec. 31 at Xcel Energy Center in St. Paul, MN.

Stewart was attended to by Head Medical Trainer Ray Barile on the ice. He left the game and did not return.

In 38 games this season, Stewart has 13 goals and nine assists (22 points).
