Blues Recall Porter from Chicago
With Paajarvi on IR with an upper-body injury, Porter is recalled
ST. LOUIS – St. Louis Blues President of Hockey Operations and General Manager Doug Armstrong announced Thursday the club has recalled forward Chris Porter from the Blues’ American Hockey League (AHL) affiliate, the Chicago Wolves.
Porter, 29, has dressed in seven games for Chicago this season posting four assists and 15 penalty minutes.
For his National Hockey League (NHL) career, the 6-foot-1, 209-pound forward has appeared in 127 games, all with the Blues, recording 24 points (10 goals, 14 assists) and 27 penalty minutes.
The Toronto, Ontario native was originally signed by the Blues as a free agent on Aug. 21, 2007.
