Paajarvi Placed on Injured Reserve

ST. LOUIS – St. Louis Blues President of Hockey Operations and General Manager Doug Armstrong announced today the club has placed forward Magnus Paajarvi on injured reserve.

Paajarvi suffered an upper-body injury during the Oct. 26 game against Nashville.

Paajarvi, 22, has dressed in four games this season and made his Blues debut on Oct. 17 in Chicago.

Overall, the 6-foot-3, 202-pound forward has appeared in four National Hockey League (NHL) seasons, recording 58 points (26 goals, 32 assists) and 34 penalty minutes in 167 career games.

The Norrkoping, Sweden native was originally drafted by Edmonton in the first round (10th overall) of the 2009 Entry Draft.
