Porter Assigned to Wolves

ST. LOUIS – St. Louis Blues President of Hockey Operations and General Manager Doug Armstrong announced Sunday the club has assigned forward Chris Porter to the Blues’ American Hockey League (AHL) affiliate, the Chicago Wolves.

Porter, 29, dressed in 29 games for the Blues last season, posting eight points (two goals and six assists). Overall, the 6-foot-1, 209-pound forward has appeared in four National Hockey League (NHL) seasons, all with the Blues, recording 24 points (10 goals, 14 assists) and 27 penalty minutes in 127 career games.

The Toronto, Ontario native was originally signed by the Blues as a free agent on Aug. 21, 2007.
