Blues Sign Carrier to Three-Year Deal

The Blues have signed forward William Carrier to a three-year deal.

Carrier, 18, was drafted by the Blues in the second round (57th overall) at the 2013 NHL Draft in New Jersey.

A native of La Salle, Quebec, Carrier played in 34 games with the Cape Breton Screaming Eagles of the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League last season, registering 16 goals and 26 assists (42 points). Carrier also helped Team Canada earn the Bronze Medal at the 2012 Under-18 World Championship.

In three seasons and 161 career games with Cape Breton, the 6-foot-1, 196-pound left-wing has tallied 51 goals and 73 assists.
