Schwartz Joins Canada at Worlds

Blues forward Jaden Schwartz has joined Team Canada at the 2013 IIHF World Championships.

Schwartz previously participated in IIHF competition at the 2011 and 2012 World Junior Championships.

In 45 games this season, Schwartz scored seven goals and six assists for the Blues (13 points). He had a plus/minus rating of -4 and registered four penalty minutes.

Schwartz was drafted by the Blues in the first round (14th overall) in the 2010 NHL Draft.

T.J. Oshie is the only other Blues player participating in the tournament, which concludes May 19.
