Oshie Joins USA National Team

Blues forward T.J. Oshie has joined the U.S. Men's National Team at the 2013 IIHF World Championships.

Oshie has previously competed in the World Championships in 2009 and 2010. He also played for the United States in the IIHF World Junior Championship in 2006.

Oshie is expected to arrive in Helsinki and join the team on Monday.

In 30 regular season games for the Blues, he recorded seven goals and 13 assists. He scored two goals in the first-round of the Stanley Cup Playoffs.

The IIHF World Championships will wrap up on Sunday, May 19 with the Gold Medal Game. Through five games in the tournament, Team USA is 4-1.
