McDonald Activated from Injured Reserve

Andy McDonald has been activated from injured reserve and is likely to return tonight when the Blues meet the Vancouver Canucks.

McDonald has been out of the lineup since injuring his left knee during a team practice drill on Feb. 26. He’s missed 10 games with the injury but has been practicing with the team as of late.

"I have to be able to play, go in there 100 percent and not hold back," McDonald said after a team practice on Monday. "I think that's where I'm at right now."

In 18 games this season, McDonald has three goals and eight assists (11 points).

Alexander Steen and Vladimir Tarasenko have recently re-joined the lineup from injured reserve. Oshie (upper body) will be eligible to come off injured reserve as early as Wednesday.

The Blues have assigned forward Adam Cracknell to the Peoria Rivermen.
