Steen Placed on Injured Reserve

The Blues announced Saturday that forward Alex Steen has been placed on injured reserve.

Steen was injured in a team practice drill on Tuesday at the Ice Zone at St. Louis Outlet Mall. The team announced recently that he is suffering from an upper body injury.

Through 18 games this season, Steen has posted 4 goals and 12 assists. At the time of his injury, he led the Blues with 16 points.

Steen joins Andy McDonald (knee), Vladimir Tarasenko (concussion) and Jamie Langenbrunner (hip) on injured reserve. Forwards Chris Porter, Andrew Murray and Adam Cracknell have recently been recalled from Peoria.
