Halak Working Towards a Return

Jaroslav Halak has been skating on his own and will begin facing shots in practice on Saturday.

Blues Head Coach Ken Hitchcock told reporters after Friday's practice at the Ice Zone at St. Louis Outlet Mall (St. Louis Mills) the earliest Halak would be available to play is Monday at 7 p.m. vs. Los Angeles.

"He's going to stop pucks tomorrow and obviously on Sunday and then we'll see," Hitchcock told reporters.

Halak was been out of the lineup since suffering a groin strain on Feb. 1 against Detroit.

Brian Elliott is slated to start in goal on Saturday vs. Anaheim.
