Jaskin Named November QMJHL 1st Star
Blues prospect had 25 points in 10 games last month for Moncton Wildcats
ST. LOUIS – St. Louis Blues prospect Dmitrij Jaskin has been named the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League’s (QMJHL) first star for November 2012.
Jaskin, 19, posted 25 points (9 goals, 16 assists) in 10 games for the QMJHL’s Moncton Wildcats during November.
The 6-foot-3, 205-pound forward also recorded two game-winning goals and seven multi-point games while carrying a 2.5 points-per-game average and maintaining a 15-game point streak during the past month.
Jaskin leads the Wildcats and ranks fifth in the QMJHL overall with 45 points (22 goals, 23 assists) in 28 games.
The Omsk, Russia native was originally drafted by the Blues in the second round (41st overall) of the 2011 NHL Entry Draft.
