Blues Mourn Loss of Ernie Hays


ST. LOUIS – St. Louis Blues Chief Operating Officer Bruce Affleck released the following statement regarding the passing of former Blues organist Ernie Hays.

"On behalf of the St. Louis Blues, I would like to express how saddened we are to learn of the passing of Ernie Hays,” said Affleck. “The excitement that Ernie brought at Blues games will forever be remembered by our fans. Our thoughts and prayers are with his wife, Loreta, and to their family.”

Mr. Hays played at the St. Louis Arena for three decades and also spent 40 seasons with the St. Louis Cardinals in addition to the St. Louis football Cardinals.
