Blues Assign 25 Players to Peoria
Another three players have been assigned to Junior or European teams
ST. LOUIS – St. Louis Blues Executive Vice President and General Manager Doug Armstrong announced Friday the club has assigned 24 players to the Blues’ American Hockey League (AHL) affiliate, the Peoria Rivermen.
In addition, the club has assigned three players to their junior and European teams.
The players assigned to Peoria include goaltenders Jake Allen, Paul Karpowich and Mike McKenna; defensemen Taylor Chorney, Ian Cole, Mark Cundari, Cade Fairchild, Scott Ford, Brett Ponich and David Shields; and forwards Jay Barriball, Cody Beach, Adam Cracknell, Stefan Della Rovere, Evgeny Grachev, Philip McRae, Andrew Murray, Anthony Nigro, Anthony Peluso, Jaden Schwartz, Tyler Shattock, Brett Sonne, Vladimir Tarasenko and Sebastian Vannstrom.
The players assigned to their junior and European teams include goaltender Jordan Binnington (Owen Sound Attack, Ontario Hockey League), defenseman Jani Hakanpaa (Espoo Blues, Finland) and forward Ty Rattie (Portland Winterhawks, Western Hockey League).
