ST. LOUIS - Monday's Blues-Sharks game was the highest-rated Blues telecast ever on FOX Sports Midwest. The Blues 4-3 win in Game 3 of the Western Conference Quarterfinals generated an 11.0 household rating in the St. Louis DMA.Blues-Sharks was the highest-rated program in St. Louis throughout the game, from 9-11:45 p.m. CT.
The previous high rating for a Blues game on FOX Sports Midwest was a 9.9 for Game 3 of the Western Conference semifinals vs. Dallas in 2001, followed by a 9.8 for Game 4 of that series and a 9.7 for Thursday's Blues-Sharks series opener. FOX Sports Midwest is in its 17th season as the Blues TV home.
Overall, last night's game earned the highest rating for a Blues game since May 7, 2002, when Game 3 of Blues-Red Wings second-round series posted a 12.3 on KPLR-TV.
