Elliott\'s Shutout Streak Ends at 241:33

Blues goaltender Brian Elliott's consecutive shutout minutes streak ended Wednesday at 241 minutes and 33 seconds.

The mark set a new franchise record for most consecutive shutout minutes by a Blues goalie, previously surpassing Manny Legace's record of 186 minutes and 15 seconds, which was set from Dec. 28, 2007 - Jan. 8, 2008.

It's been a career year for Elliott, who leads the NHL in goals-against average (1.49), save percentage (.943) and ranks second in shutouts (9).

Last week, he set a Blues record for most shutouts by a goalie in one season with nine.

With two games remaining on the regular season schedule, Elliott is 23-9-4.
