Langenbrunner to Play Game No. 1,100

Blues forward Jamie Langenbrunner will play in his 1,100th career NHL game tonight when the Blues host the Nashville Predators.

Langenbrunner, 36, will become the 21st American-born player in NHL history to reach the mark.

Of those 21 players, eight have played for the Blues during their careers: Brett Hull, Bill Guerin, Doug Weight, Keith Tkachuk, Scott Young, Eric Weinrich, Dave Ellett and now Langenbrunner.

Through 64 games this season, Langenbrunner has scored 5 goals and 17 assists (22 points).
