ST. LOUIS – St. Louis Blues Executive Vice President and General Manager Doug Armstrong announced Tuesday the club has recalled forward T.J. Hensick from the Blues’ American Hockey League (AHL) affiliate, the Peoria Rivermen.
Hensick was recalled after the Blues announced that forward Jamie Langenbrunner will be out at least four weeks with a broken bone in his left foot.
Hensick, 26, has appeared in 53 games with the Rivermen this season and ranks third in the AHL with 64 points including 19 goals and 45 assists.
The Lansing, Michigan native was originally acquired by the Blues from Colorado in exchange for Julian Talbot on June 17, 2010.
