Slowly but surely, the Blues roster is getting healthier.
According to Blues Head Coach Ken Hitchcock, forward Jason Arnott (shoulder) and defenseman Kent Huskins (ankle) are both ready to return to the lineup.
Arnott was injured when he fell awkwardly into the boards during the third period of the Feb. 3 game vs. Los Angeles. His injury was originally listed as day-to-day, but he was placed on injured reserve on Feb. 10. He has missed six games.
Through 49 games this season, Arnott has 12 goals and 12 assists (24 points).
Huskins fractured his ankle on Oct. 28 in Calgary and underwent surgery on Nov. 16. He has missed 46 games.
In nine games, Huskins has two goals, two assists and a plus-6 rating.
With both players ready to return, the Blues are still without Alex Steen (concussion) and Matt D'Agostini (concussion). Carlo Colaiacovo was injured in Wednesday's practice and he won't play Thursday vs. the Islanders, but Hitchcock says he feels better and hopes to rejoin the team for practice on Friday.
