ST. LOUIS – St. Louis Blues Executive Vice President and General Manager Doug Armstrong announced Wednesday the club has assigned forward Chris Porter to the Blues’ American Hockey League (AHL) affiliate, the Peoria Rivermen for conditioning.

Porter, 27, has appeared in 25 games with the Blues this season posting three points (two goals, one assist) and four penalty minutes.

The Toronto, Ontario native was originally signed by the Blues as a free agent on Aug. 21, 2007
