ST. LOUIS - Head Coach Ken Hitchcock said Blues forward Alexander Steen will miss Friday's game vs. Nashville with concussion-like symptoms.
Steen will be re-evaluated by doctors to determine the severity of the injury. The Blues won't know when Steen can return until further evaluation has been completed.
"He just didn't feel right after practice yesterday. We're just holding him out. We don't know if it's day-to-day or what it is," Hitchcock said. "Right now, he can't play today. We'll see where he's at in a day or two."
Hitchcock said the team believes the injury occured in the Dec. 26 game vs. Dallas.
An update on Steen's condition will be posted if the team releases more information.
