Cracknell, 25, made his National Hockey League (NHL) debut on Dec. 15 at Detroit and dressed in 24 games overall for the Blues in 2010-11 posting seven points (three goals, four assists) including his first career NHL goal on March 12 vs. Detroit. The 6’1”, 216-pound forward also made 76 appearances with the Blues’ American Hockey League (AHL) affiliate, Peoria Rivermen, recording 38 points including 17 goals and 21 assists.
The Prince Albert, Saskatchewan native was originally drafted by Calgary in the ninth round, 279th overall, of the 2004 NHL Entry Draft. He was signed by the Blues as a free agent on July 23, 2009.
