ST. LOUIS – St. Louis Blues Executive Vice President and General Manager Doug Armstrong announced Thursday the club has signed forward Sebastian Wannstrom.

Wannstrom, 20, spent the majority of the 2010-11 season with Brynas IF Gavle of the Swedish Elite League (SEL), recording two assists in 45 games played. Overall, the 6’1, 180-pound forward has appeared in 63 games with Gavle over the past two seasons.

The Gavle, Sweden native was originally drafted by the Blues in the second round, 44th overall, of the 2010 NHL Entry Draft.
