ST. LOUIS – St. Louis Blues Executive Vice President and General Manager Doug Armstrong announced Wednesday the club has re-signed forward Vladimir Sobotka to a three-year contract extension.

“Vlady is a hard-nosed two-way player that filled many roles for us last season,” said Armstrong. “His work ethic is an excellent representation of our organization.”

Sobotka, 23, completed his fourth NHL season and first with the Blues in 2010-11 setting career highs in games played (65), points (29), goals (7), assists (22) and penalty minutes (69).
