ST. LOUIS – St. Louis Blues Executive Vice President and General Manager Doug Armstrong announced Monday the club has signed forward Kyle Hagel to a two-way contract.
Hagel, 26, has spent parts of the last two seasons with the American Hockey League’s (AHL) Rockford IceHogs including 2010-11 where he appeared in 77 games and posted 13 points (five goals, eight assists) and 245 penalty minutes.
The 6’0, 205-pound forward is a native of Hamilton, Ontario and played his collegiate hockey at Princeton University.
