Mandi, sister of Blues draft choice Jaden Schwartz, succumbs to cancer

A college hockey player for the Yale University Bulldogs, Mandi was diagnosed with acute myeloid leukemia in December 2008 and battled hard, becoming an inspiration for the hockey world before losing her battle on Sunday.
Mandi, 23, was also the sister of Blues' 2010 first-round draft pick Jaden Schwartz.
"From the entire St. Louis Blues organization, our thoughts and prayers are with the Schwartz family during this difficult time," said Blues President John Davidson.
