Jackman, Steen Return to Lineup

Both players returned more than a week earlier than expected

The Blues will get a boost from the return of several players to the lineup on Friday when they host the Calgary Flames at Scottrade Center.

Blues defenseman Barret Jackman returns after recovering from a broken right index finger, while forward Alex Steen returns after being diagnosed with a high ankle sprain.

Both players were injured on Mar. 9 vs. Columbus and were expected to miss 4-6 weeks with the injuries, but both will return to the lineup after missing just 10 games.

As a result, the Blues have assigned defenseman Ian Cole to Peoria.
