Jackman Activated from Injured Reserve

ST. LOUIS – St. Louis Blues Executive Vice President and General Manager Doug Armstrong announced Friday the club has activated defenseman Barret Jackman from Injured Reserve. In addition, the club assigned defenseman Ian Cole to the Blues’ American Hockey League (AHL) affiliate, the Peoria Rivermen.

Jackman, 30, has missed the last ten games after suffering a broken right index finger in the Blues’ 4-3 overtime victory over Columbus on March 9. The 6’0, 205-pound defenseman has dressed in 55 games this season tallying 13 assists.

Cole, 22, has appeared in 26 games for the Blues this season recording four points including a goal and three assists. With Peoria, the 6’1, 221-pound defenseman has dressed in 40 games tallying 13 points including five goals and eight assists.
