ST. LOUIS – St. Louis Blues Executive Vice President and General Manager Doug Armstrong announced Thursday the club has recalled forward Dave Scatchard from the Blues’ American Hockey League (AHL) affiliate, the Peoria Rivermen, on emergency basis.

Scatchard, 35, dressed in eight games for the Blues this season, tallying one assist, before injuring his knee in the Blues’ 4-1 loss to San Jose on December 18. In 30 games with Peoria, the 6’3, 220-pound forward has recorded 13 points including four goals and nine assists.

The Hinton, Alberta native was signed by the Blues as a free agent on Aug. 4, 2010.
