In addition, the club assigned goaltender Ben Bishop to the Blues’ American Hockey League (AHL) affiliate, the Peoria Rivermen.
Halak, 25, has appeared in 43 games for the Blues this season posting a 19-17-6 record including a 2.63 goals against average, .907 save percentage and four shutouts.
Bishop, 24, has started 29 games for the Rivermen this season compiling a record of 15-12-1 including a 2.52 goals against average, .916 save percentage as well as two shutouts.
The, 6’7, 215-pound goaltender has also appeared in seven games for the Blues posting a 3-4-0 record including a 2.76 goals against average and a .899 save percentage.
