Porter, Reaves Recalled from Peoria; McRae on Injured Reserve

In addition, the club recalled forwards Chris Porter and Ryan Reaves from the Blues’ American Hockey League (AHL) affiliate, the Peoria Rivermen. Forward Philip McRae has been placed on injured reserve.
Winchester, 29, was signed by St. Louis as a free agent on July 16, 2008 and played three seasons with the Blues. In 2010-11, the 6’5, 230-pound forward made 57 appearances for the Blues notching 14 points (nine goals, five assists) to go along with 86 penalty minutes.
Porter, 26, has played in 36 games for the Rivermen this season recording nine goals and 11 assists for 20 points. The 6’1, 200-pound forward has also dressed in 25 games for the Blues notching two assists. A native of Toronto, Ontario, Porter was originally drafted by Chicago in the ninth round, 282nd overall, in the 2003 NHL Entry Draft. He was signed by the Blues as a free agent on August 21, 2007.
Reaves, 24, has played in 50 games for the Rivermen this season recording 10 points (four goals, six assists) to go along with a team leading 146 penalty minutes. The 6’1, 225-pound forward has also dressed in eight games for the Blues notching two goals and serving 26 penalty minutes. A native of Winnipeg, Manitoba, Reaves was originally drafted by the Blues in the fifth round, 156th overall, of the 2005 NHL Entry Draft.
