Jaroslav Halak is day-to-day with an upper body injury.
Bishop, 24, has started 26 games for the Rivermen this season compiling a record of 13-11-1 including a 2.59 goals against average, .913 save percentage as well as two shutouts.
The, 6’7, 215-pound goaltender appeared in six games for the Blues during the 2008-09 campaign including his NHL debut on October 24, 2008 against the Los Angeles Kings.
Bishop earned his first NHL win the following night as he stopped all 12 shots he faced in a combined shutout with Marek Schwarz in the Blues’ 4-0 victory over the Florida Panthers.
Overall, his NHL career has yielded a recorded of 1-1-1 including a 2.94 goals against average and a .893 save percentage.
A native of St. Louis, Bishop was originally drafted by the Blues in the third round, 85th overall, of the 2005 NHL Entry Draft.
